A monumental cast iron and bronze Victorian firegrate. The three barred grate, surmounted by twin pairs of bronze urn finials above a fine and intricately cut apron, is supported to the fore by very tall, bulbous andirons raised on large decorative, scrolled feet centred by grotesque masks. English, circa 1840.
