A pair of composition stone 'Medici Lions'. The originals were made in 1789 and are to be found on the steps of the Loggia dei Lanzi in Florence in Italy. Both lions in matching prowling stance with one paw raised and resting on a cannon ball. One of two pairs with SNo 12871.
