A rare and exquisite small antique crystal chandelier in the French 18th century manner, small scale, delicate and intricate with cut glass and crystal altogether of excellent quality. It is built on a well constructed nickel plated brass cage with its original internal bulb holders, machine turned candle splash pans and finials typical of the 18th century. The scrolling hexagonal cage with its six branches central glass column, glass flowers, drops and swags & three interior bulbs giving good room lighting. A rare example of a chandelier built for electricity at the dawn of that era with its original bulb holder and " brass cage".
