A small ornate combination cast iron Victorian fireplace with a moulded shelf and an integral grate. The highly decorative panels on the frieze are embellished with floral and foliate motifs. These fireplaces were very popular in smaller rooms or bedrooms from the mid-19th Century. They were made in cast iron and constructed as one unit.
