A large period Louis XVI French stone chimneypiece carved hard limestone.The integral breakfronted shelf and frieze with carved arrow in a quiver crossed with a flaming torch against olive branch background on the central plaque symbolising Victory and Peace, flanked by raised panels and circular floral paterae.This is supported on panelled and fluted jambs.
