A pair of cast-iron Art Nouveau fire dogs each with a repousse copper panel depicting a geometric rose. Reg. Mark 1906.
Possibly the work of Margaret Gilmore one of the finest metalsmiths in Scotland of the early 1900's who worked alongside Charles Rennie MacKintosh. The Mackintosh Rose is clearly stated in these fire dogs.
