Stock No.15665
A pair of large Arts and Crafts copper andirons, possibly with a connection to the Newlyn School in Cornwall. These beautiful and unusual andirons are topped with foliate finials, mounted on obelisk like shafts with splayed feet, profusely decorated with floral and foliate motifs in repoussé work creating a wonderful low relief design. Beautiful quality craftsmanship.
English, possibly Cornish, c.1890.
