A very fine pair of Iberian silver plated andirons in the Baroque manner. The deeply fluted & knopped double baluster Standard surmounted by a finial composed of four Aztec style masks, on a triangular plinth again with Aztec or possibly African masks with Cupids to the rear, raised on wrought iron billet / log bars with small conical log stops.
Spanish or Portuguese, early 19th century.
