An exceptionally ornate yet delicate French gilt gesso overmantel mirror. The arched frame is decorated with floral garlands bound with ribbons and is surmounted by a bow tied floral wreath. This is flanked by two finials depicting birds. The original silvered mirror plate. French, c.1880.
